I've Been Waiting

I've been waiting for you
all my life , it seems.
So many nights I embraced you
though only in dreams

I've waited so long
to look into your eyes
Taste your sweet lips ...
hear your soft sighs.
Feel the heat from your body
melding with mine
You holding me close
we are one .. intertwined.

But tonight ... tonight,
my dreams will come true
Candle light ... roses ...
most importantly ... You.
