The Little Sunbeam
A happy little sunbeam Came in my room today And told me I could put My scarf and heavy boots away
It danced across my blankets Up to the window pane Pointing to the busy birds Building nests again
Trees waved at me with branches Showing off their tiny buds There’s no snow left to play in… But look at all that mud!
Thank you little sunbeam It was nice of you to bring These wonderful things for me to see That only come in Spring
