A Fathers Day Gift

He doesn't need another tie
After shave won't do
Take a moment just to let him know
How much he means to you

He may not wear emotions
On his sleeve for you to see
But his eyes can't hide his secret...
Sentimentality.

Let him know you remember
How he chased your fears away
The comforting touch of his hands said
Daddys here now, its okay.

Thank him while you have the chance
For a life spent loving you
And let him know beyond a doubt
That you love him too.

As we celebrate this Father's Day
With merriment and cheer
Let's pause to honor all the Dads
Who are no longer here.
