Bedtime Story
When the sun travels on to another place
So other children can play
The moon brings its band of twinkling stars
To keep the darkness at bay.
And sends the Fluttering Fireflies
To lead sweet dreams to you.
While the crickets and frogs sing their lullabies
Serenading you all night through.
When the songs have been sung, and the stories read
And kisses given and prayers said
It is time to rest your weary head
Surrounded by love, in your little bed.
Sleep well my child , don’t grow up too fast
