The Crazy Quilt

Scraps of fabric saved with care,
Remnants of clothing we used to wear.
Flannel and cotton, satin and lace,
All shapes and sizes will soon find a place.

Stitches so fine, and evenly placed
Will join them together, all interlaced
With loving memories, for each piece tells a tale
From the first baby blanket, to the last Bridal Veil.

Each Quilt tells a story, a link to the past
For each generation, through which it is passed.
The warmth and the comfort that it provides
Comes not from the weight .. but the love sewn inside.
